Shape your strategy
Know where you’re heading before you spend on how to get there.
Direction should come before delivery. Before you commit budget to a program, you need a clear picture of where you're heading, a business case that stands up to scrutiny, and the governance to keep the decision defensible once it's underway. We work alongside your leadership team to set that direction - digital, customer and brand strategy, operating models redesigned for the AI era, the business case that gets it funded, and the governance to back it - before the spending starts.
Digital and Enterprise Transformation
Digital, customer and brand strategy; transformation roadmaps; enterprise architecture; operating model and org design (including the strategic change and AI-era role redesign that come with it). We also build the capability uplift and business case needed to see it through. This is the work of deciding where you're heading, what has to change to get there, and proving the case for it.
Resilience and Risk Advisory
Audits and reviews, governance frameworks, and risk and compliance advice, so the direction you set holds up under scrutiny and keeps running when things go wrong.
Building resilience means being ready for disruption, not just avoiding it. We help you understand your risk appetite, build the governance frameworks that back it, and pressure-test your operational resilience and business continuity planning against real scenarios; so, if something goes wrong, the plan already exists. That sits alongside our audits, reviews and compliance advice, including support aligned to ISO 27001 and other recognised quality and security standards.
Looking for data strategy, governance or AI enablement?
Why Integral to help shape your strategy?
Integral has been advising organisations on strategy and transformation since 2001, working across government, not-for-profit, education and commercial sectors nationwide. We're ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified ourselves, so the governance frameworks we help you build hold up to the standard we apply to our own business.Because we work across strategy, technology and delivery, the roadmap we hand you is one we can also help execute, built to be used, not just approved shelf-ware.
We've helped organisations set direction under pressure before, from redesigning operating models ahead of major structural change, to building the business caase for multi-year digital transformation programs across government, education, not for profit and commercial sectors. The common thread is a roadmap that survives contact with a board, not just a workshop.
How we work with you
Understand
We start with your business, your constraints and what "good" looks like for you, not a generic playbook.
Define
We work with your leadership team to define the direction, the operating model changes required, and the business case that gets it funded.
Prove
Every recommendation is tested against evidence — audits, data, stakeholder input — so it holds up when it's questioned.
Govern
We help put the governance in place to keep the direction on track once delivery starts, so the strategy doesn't drift.

FAQ's
If you can't find the answer here, just ask...A strategy sets the direction, what you're aiming for and why. A business case is the funding argument for a specific initiative inside that strategy. We can help with one or both, depending on where you're starting from.
Yes. Operating model and role redesign for the AI era is part of this practice — we look at how roles, teams and decision rights need to change, not just which tools you adopt.
Use us as much or as little as you need. If you'd rather lead the strategy yourself, we can take on specific pieces such as stakeholder engagement, audits, insights and research, data analysis, or workshop facilitation, and hand the rest back to your team. Some clients want the whole thing run for them; others just need a specialist pair of hands for the parts that are hardest to resource internally. We’ve seen both approaches work.
It depends on scope. Most engagements run from a few weeks for a focused review to a few months for a full strategy and operating model redesign.
Yes. Resilience and risk advisory sits alongside strategy because governance decisions and strategic decisions should be made together, not bolted on afterwards. We're ISO 27001 certified ourselves, so we bring first-hand experience of what a workable framework looks like.
No. We work with organisations of all sizes, from small not-for-profits to large government agencies and national commercial businesses. What matters is the size of the decision you're making, not the size of your organisation.
We'll set up a short, no-obligation call to understand what you're trying to achieve. From there, we'll recommend the right starting point, whether that be a full strategy engagement, or help with a specific piece of IT.
