Design better digital experiences

Design for people and their AI agents.

Website design, application development, UI/UX design and journey mapping that work for the human users and the AI tools increasingly acting on their behalf.

Digital experiences used to have one audience, people. Now they have two: the customers navigating your site or app, and the AI agents and answer engines increasingly acting on their behalf, comparing options and making decisions without a person ever clicking through. The opportunity is designing digital experiences that work for both - intuitive enough for a person, and structured enough for a machine to understand and trust.

Website design & delivery

Designing and building websites that work for the people using them and are structured clearly enough for AI agents and answer engines to read, understand and act on.

UX/UI design

Designing interfaces and interactions that are easy to use and consistent with how people actually behave.

Enterprise web & application development

Building web and business applications tailored to a specific need, from concept through to a working, supportable product.

Portals & intranets

Building internal and customer-facing portals that people actually use day to day.

Digital experience

Making sure the experience holds together end to end, across every touchpoint, for the person using it and the systems and AI agents reading it.

Customer journey mapping

Mapping how people actually move through a digital touchpoint today, so improvements target the real friction points rather than assumed ones.

Service design

Designing an end-to-end service experience across every touchpoint so it works as one coherent journey rather than a set of disconnected parts.

Looking for data strategy, governance or AI enablement?

Why Integral for digital experience?

We've been tracking the human and AI shift for a while — from zero-click search results to how AI systems read and cite content via knowledge graphs, and what that means for how a website or digital app needs to be built. That thinking sits inside how we design and build every digital experience from the start. We combine UX and service design with the technical structure, AEO, clean data and clear content that makes an experience work for a person and legible to a machine.

It's also rare to work with a digital experience team that sits inside a full, end-to-end technology and strategy consultancy. That means the enterprise-grade quality and security standards we apply to core systems work carry through to the digital experience work too.

How we work with you

Understand

We start with your business, your constraints and what "good" looks like for you, not a generic playbook.

Define

We work with your leadership team to define the direction, the operating model changes required, and the business case that gets it funded.

Prove

Every recommendation is tested against evidence — audits, data, stakeholder input — so it holds up when it's questioned.

Govern

We help put the governance in place to keep the direction on track once delivery starts, so the strategy doesn't drift.

FAQ's

If you can't find the answer here, just ask...
What does it mean to design a website for AI agents as well as people?

It means the structure, content and data behind a page need to be as clear to a machine as the layout is to a person. That includes things like clean markup, structured data and content written to directly answer likely questions.

Do we need to rebuild our website to make it AI-friendly?

Not always. Often it's a matter of restructuring content and data rather than a full rebuild, though if the underlying platform can't support that structure, modernisation may be needed first — that's covered under Modernise your technology.

What's the difference between UX design and service design?

UX design focuses on a specific interface — how a person interacts with a screen or app. Service design looks at the whole journey across every touchpoint, digital and otherwise, so the individual pieces work together as one experience.

How does customer journey mapping fit with UX and website design?

Journey mapping comes first. It shows where people get stuck or drop off across a digital touchpoint, which then informs what the UX, content and technical build actually need to fix.

Do you handle our overall customer experience strategy, or just the digital pieces?

This page covers the design and build of digital touchpoints specifically. Broader customer and employee experience strategy across every channel sits under Grow your brand & audience. We're often involved in both, sequenced together.
